        IT Infrastructure Support

 

 

Location: Pune(WFO)

Job Type: Contract 2 Hire (6 Months, Extendable)

Role Description :
This is a full-time Onsite role for an IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist. The IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist ensures stable and secure IT operations during night shifts, monitoring infrastructure, managing incident resolution, deploying updates, and supporting end users and business continuity.

Qualifications :
1. Monitor the stability and performance of server, network, and cloud environments.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, hardware, software, and user issues for night operations.
3. Respond promptly to alerts, incidents, and outages; escalate as necessary.
4. Document all support actions, solutions, and system changes in ticketing systems.
5. Execute scheduled system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and backup/restore operations.
6. Manage user accounts (creation, deactivation), device provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding.
7. Collaborate with global teams for escalations and follow-the-sun support.
8. Support compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills :
1. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
2. Proficient in core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls).
3. Experience with backup/restore tools and infrastructure monitoring systems.
4. Familiarity with endpoint security, patch management, and Office 365/cloud admin.
5. Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.

Experience & Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, preferably in night shift or 24x7 roles.
3. Prior experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing and knowledge management tools.
4. Relevant certifications preferred: ITIL, MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+/Network+
